ABOUT AVENUES

Avenues is on a mission: changing the world through education. This is more than a platitude for us. With interconnected campuses under development in leading cities around the world, Avenues is uniquely positioned to develop world-wise leaders equipped to face and solve the future's complex global challenges.

Avenues | The World School plans to open its Silicon Valley campus in San Jose for the 2021/22 academic year, serving students from nursery through 9th grade. As the newest campus of Avenues: The World School, Avenues Silicon Valley is slated to be the first global school in the Bay Area, providing students with transformative, world-focused learning experiences in a state-of-the-art educational facility. From early childhood through 5th grade, students enroll in either Spanish or Mandarin language immersion, and across all grade levels, learning is project- and inquiry-based, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary study. As at every Avenues campus, students are challenged to take ownership of their learning from a young age and to develop the critical and creative thinking skills necessary to understand and solve global-scale problems.

THE OPPORTUNITY

On any given day, Avenues students might be building a 3D printer, in China, with peers from around the world. Or constructing a tiny houseas they learn about sustainability.
